TRIP INFORMATION + FAQ’S

These trips to Fiji are a chance to build relationships, a chance to make a big impact, and a chance to witness lasting change.

We want YOU to have the opportunity to be there, and not just take our word for it.

Trip Dates: Our 2018 trips have been filled. Check back in Fall 2018 for our 2019 trip dates. 

Trip Cost: Our trip cost is $1,650 and does not include airfare. Included in this total is: accommodations, projects, meals, ground transportation, and other activities.

Is There A Deposit? In order to save your spot, you will be required to pay a $200 per-person deposit. Don’t worry, it is applied to your total trip cost. If you are ready, you can register here.

What About Airfare? You will be making your flight to arrive in Nadi (NAN), Fiji on MONDAY. There are many ways to purchase tickets online, it will be important that you arrive in Nadi on that Monday. Tip/trick: Try using the free Hopper App to know the best times to buy flights.

How Long Is The Trip? 8 days including travel to/from the States. If coming from the States, you will most likely be flying out the Saturday before, as you will fly right over Sunday, and arrive in Fiji on Monday. Upon returning home, you will be departing Fiji Sunday, and arriving Sunday. This varies depending on starting country.

Who Leads The Trips? A member of the Give Clean Water team. Usually this will be Steve Jolly, our program director, or Alon Banks, our executive director.

Do I Need Vaccinations? Ask your doctor for the most up to date medical information, and make sure you are up to date on all your regular vaccinations and immunizations. Visit the Center for Disease Control website for additional vaccinations recommended for travel to Fiji.

What Paperwork Do I Need? In order to travel to Fiji you must have a current passport that will not expire within six months of your trip to Fiji.

Where Will We Go? Each trip varies but usually the Fiji trips will include visits to multiple areas of the main Fiji island, Viti Levu. As well as, travel to an island resort to spend the day relaxing and enjoying the resort facilities.

What Will We Be Doing? We will be working to install and train the families on the new clean water systems, as well as follow-ups with those that have recently received them in schools, villages and settlements.
